Right now we're gonna unbox, assemble and demonstrate this Bissell 95956 Cleanview vacuum cleaner. Here is the user manual and warranty card. This is the turbo brush tool which mostly is used for like upholstery but I guess you could use it on carpet. This is the hose wand clip. The upper cord wrap. This is the dusting brush. We have recycled packaging which is really nice. And here's the actual vacuum cleaner body. It's a little hard to get out. I'll take the handle out first. This has the screws, the two screws are attached to this handle. And here's the hose. Which seems to be attached with the twenty five foot cord. The extension wand and the crevice tool is inside there. This is actually a 12 amp vacuum cleaner. It has dual edge cleaning technology, onepass cleaning technology, cleanview so you can see the dirt inside of it, plus it has a washable filter. One pass means that the powerful suction of this vacuum cleaner and the innovative brush design, means that it can remove most surface debris on its initial pass. It also has a powerful multi cyclonic suction system for a deep clean, plus it's lightweight and easy to push and carry. It has an easy empty dirt bin with large capacity so you spend less time emptying. Gonna remove the screw package from the handle. Open the package up. And here's the only two screws we need to deal with. Slide the handle into the body. It's a really tight fit. Get the screws in there, and now we tighten up the screws you're only gonna need a phillips head screwdriver to put this thing together. Take note of the arrow on the hose wand clip. Put it into the back and turn it a quarter of a turn. The upper cord wrap just slides into this hole and snaps into place. Once it's in you can turn it 360 degrees just to make it easy to get the cord on and off. The Twist 'n Snap hose slides right into here. Align the notches and turn it a quarter of a turn. Then you'll take the hose and you will wrap it around the upper hose base here, and slide the end of the hose into the bottom like this. You'll find the crevice tool slides right into the extension wand for easy storage. It goes on to the back of the vacuum like this. This is the dusting brush, which slides right into the back and is held in with force like this. The turbo brush conveniently goes right onto the top and is also held in with force. The 25 foot cord gets wrapped around here pretty easily. And with a 180 degree turn you can easily get the cord off to use the vacuum. There's a little snap at the top to hold the cord while you're using it With the push of a button the tank comes right off for easy cleaning. You push this button to get to the washable filter. You can take this filter out and wash it in the sink. Put the filter back in pretty easily. This button down here at the bottom opens the bottom so the debris will just fall out, and you can easily reach in and with a quarter turn remove the cyclone. You could then put it in the sink and wash it out. And it goes back in with a simple quarter turn as well. The bottom of the vacuum has an easy to remove filter. I'm not sure if it's a HEPA filter but it keeps the air clean, and it's easy to put back in. Alright let's dump the dirt out of this thing and see how well it sucks it back up. I want to see how well this thing can suck up along the edge, so I just grabbed some dirt from the yard. It got close but didn't get everything Well that picked up a little more but it looks like the crevice tool is what's really gonna have to get this out. Makes sense though. Let's switch this from medium to high carpet. And now let's go from I carpet down to bare floors. So as you can see it picked up quite a bit of dirt the full line is right there and I went way past that. To note I vacuumed about 2,000 square feet of carpet and bare floors and we vacuum every two weeks so this is 2 weeks worth of dirt here and clearly we have two dogs, a yellow lab and a little chi-pin So there's a lot of dog hair in here. The vacuum claims to have one pass technology, So what I'm gonna do is dump this out and give this canister a thorough cleaning so it's like new again then I'm gonna vacuum the house a second time and see if I pick anything up. Maybe I should do this outside? So I think you'll agree that is pretty much factory clean right there. I took some glass cleaner to it and blew it out, so yeah. Let's see if we pick up any dirt this time. As you can see this time around there is a lot less dirt. I should probably vacuum my house more than you know every two weeks and our old vacuum cleaner was needing replacement so that could be part of the excuse, but this is a lot less. I'm impressed. Now let's have a look at the various tools and how to replace the belt on this vacuum cleaner. Let's give the turbo brush a try. Seems to be working pretty good. To take the turbo brush apart there's a little collar right here, turn it all the way over there, you lift the top off you give it a good cleaning. The crevice tool. The extension. And of course the brush. This is probably the tool that I think is the weakest. I don't really believe the bristles are good enough to do like ceiling fans and window sills and stuff. To change the belt we have to remove these seven screws here. There's the belt. This side is round which goes in here, it doesn't matter. The other side of the groove to go into there one way. This is a Bissell style 7, 9 and 10 belt. A 3031120 Although the user manual says that you should use a 203-1093 I think as long as it's a style nine it's fine. Well that pretty much sums up the Bissell one pass clean view 95956 vacuum cleaner. Overall it's a fantastic vacuum cleaner. One little tidbit, wrap the cord around the handle before snapping it in this way it'll stay when you're actually vacuuming. So if you enjoyed this video please hit like and subscribe. Things To Consider When Buying a Vacuum Cleaner Under 100 USD
A vacuum cleaner is important equipment to have at home that will help you with cleaning different types of wooden floors, carpets, and surfaces at home. Deciding on the best equipment that matches your budget can be hard for you, especially when you have a fixed budget. Below we have looked at some of the essential things you need to consider when buying a vacuum cleaner under $100.
Are you willing to spend a few more bucks for a good vacuum cleaner? When choosing a vacuum cleaner under $100, it's essential to consider how much you are willing to spend. Vacuum cleaners with the best features tend to be expensive, and at this point, you should know if you are willing to spend money on either a second-hand vacuum cleaner or a new one.
Corded or cordless
The cordless vacuum cleaner uses a rechargeable battery. The battery lasts only a few hours of use, and you have to recharge. If you are cleaning several rooms, it means you will have to stop and recharge it to continue working. However, if you only need a vacuum cleaner for smaller rooms and one that will be using for a few hours in a day, the cordless is a good choice.
On the other hand the corded vacuum cleaner is efficient for some large rooms. You just have to keep plugging and unplugging as you clean further away. For the cordless vacuum cleaner, it is also important to note that it cannot be used without a reliable power source.
Type of floor
Different vacuum cleaners are made for specific floors. Consider the type of floor you want to clean because hardwood and tile floors can be cleaned with any vacuum, but it is not the same for carpets and laminated floors.
The Hepa filter is a must look feature for a good vacuum cleaner. This filter gets rid of allergens, and it's a must check feature for your house if you an allergic or asthmatic person. A good heap filter will replace the use of air purifiers in the house.
A vacuum cleaner is supposed to make your cleaning tasks easier. The suction power of a vacuum increases its ability to collect debris, fur and dirt particles from surfaces. Look for one with has a more powerful suction power to make your work easier.
The product warranty is also a key feature to consider before making the final decision. There are products with 5-year warranty which are the best to go for and others with a year or six months warranty. When the vacuum has a warranty of one year, you can be sure that you can return it to the seller within that one warranty period in case you have a problem with it in the first month.
Second, hand vacuum cleaners will be cheaper but without a warranty. This means that in case of any repairs, you have to cater for the expenses on your own. You will end up spending a lot more than the amount you had in budget.
Be sure to buy something that has a high rating and good reviews. For most of the products in the market, there is someone who has had a prior experience with a similar product. Go for that which has more positive reviews. For example, you might realize that the vacuum you are about to buy overheats after a few hours of use. Avoid something that is going to give you a hard time using as much as it is within your budget. Remember that this is something you will need almost every other day of your life.
How to Maintain a Vacuum Cleaner
Now that you know what to consider when buying a vacuum cleaner, it is also important that you know what to do so that it can serve you for longer and without many problems. The quality and the durability of a vacuum are not the only things that will make it serve for years. You also have to put in some effort to prolong its lifespan. The best way to do so is through maintenance. Below we shall look at some basic tips on how you can maintain your vacuum and continue getting the best from it for years.
Ensure you empty the dirty bags frequently. Make it a habit to empty these maybe weekly at least. It does not take long to do this, and it costs nothing to empty.
Clean the rollers regularly. Dirt, dust, debris, and fur from pets attach to the rollers of the cleaner. This dirt accumulates, and at times it will be hard to move the rollers at all. Keep the rollers clean, as this will make your work easier at all times. If you frequently clean the rollers, it means you will not spend so much time the next time you are cleaning.
Clean the vacuum filters regularly and replace them when necessary. A clogged filter is going to disturb your machine so badly if not taken care of. Ensure to clean the filters and replace them when necessary. For more guidance on how to replace your filter, check the user's manual.
Check the vacuum brushes you do normal cleaning and dusting of your machine, check on the cleaner brush. You can use a stiff brush to remove particles stuck on the brush regularly.
Inspect the belt regularly. Debris and particles tend to get stuck on the belt, and they are more likely to tear it. Always check whether it is in place and replace it when it's worn out.
Check on the vents, always-check the valves for clogging. If the ventilators are blocked, it increases the chances of overheating, and this could be dangerous for the motor of the machine.
Seek professional advice in case of anything. It's good to have a professional service your machine maybe every six months or one year. Ask from the manufacturer for advice in case you have a challenge with the machine.

Somebody helped me I live with this maniac he's always trying to clean me here kitty-kitty let's vacuum up some of that hair hello my name is Thomas Hernandez now as many of y'all know my wife and I own a cleaning business and over the past ten years I have cleaned a slew of bathrooms but I've also had the opportunity to use a wide range of vacuum cleaners having a great vacuum cleaner it's critical for people with carpet but I see so many people who have expensive vacuum cleaners sitting in their closets well when you go to plug them in they have absolutely zero suction and they stink to high heaven no good when your vacuum cleaner smells like musty armpits it is communicated and message to you and that message is simple clean me so without any further ado five simple steps to help you clean and maintain your vacuum.
Step number one once you've unplugged your vacuum cleaner clean the filters having a clogged filter is one of the main culprits for suction loss and foul odors emanating from your vacuum cleaner on this particular vacuum there are two filters a premotor filter and a post-motor filter if you don't know where the filters wrap on your particular vacuum just consult your manual and if you've lost your manual look for it online you'll find it on there the great thing about filters is that they're washable and if you have a filter that isn't washable like a HEPA filter then just treat it like you would any other filter throw it away and just buy your replacement to clean the washable filters beat out all the dust and hair and run it under cool water until it's clean then put it aside and let it dry for 24 hours before reassembling it.
Step number two clean the canister if you don't have a canister and you have a bag change out your bag I recommend changing out your bag once it gets halfway full personally with my own experience when I used vacuum cleaners with bags I would experience a lot of suction lofts once the bag would get halfway full it still worked just not as well so I recommend changing the bag out once it gets halfway full instead of completely full to clean the canister empty it out take it apart wash it in the sink with warm soapy water and lay it aside to dry for 24 hours for the middle entered part with the handle knock out all the dust and debris then take a toothbrush and brush out the holes if anything is stuck spray it out with some compressed air then wipe down the entire canister with a dry microfiber cloth.
Step number three clean out your hoses this is another main culprit for suction loss stick a broom handle down the hoses to make sure there are no obstructions one of the things I love about this vacuum cleaner is I can remove this piece and I can check for obstructions and then I can flip it underneath I can remove this piece make sure it's not clogged up we'll clean this part and check this part when we do the beater bar.
Step number four clean the beater bar into area around it when your beater bar gets full of hair and carpet fibers the bristles can no longer pick stuff up out of the carpet which means it's not doing its job any more to clean the beater bar take your pair of scissors and cut away all the hair going along with the plastic be sure not to cut the bristles though and step number five clean your attachments to clean the attachments just soak them in the sink with warm water and dish soap if any of the bristles have stuff stuck in them use your toothbrush and just brush out those bristles once they are clean lay them aside to dry for 24 hours now that your vacuum is clean it is gonna suck like it's never sucked before mess my hair up there and bonus step number six make your vacuum smell good to make your vacuum smell good just find your exhaust filter and put you a couple drops your favorite smelling fragrance well right on that filter and it will make it smell fantastic so that's it five simple steps plus a bonus step to help you clean and maintain your vacuum cleaner if I missed anything let me know down in the comments below until next time happy vacuuming and as a mr.fuzzball here would say meow meow I'm gonna go hide into the bed.
