Top 10 Best Tile Laser To Buy in 2020 - Reviews
Aligning tiles properly can be a hard job if you don’t have the right ones. One of the best tools that will help you get precise results is a tile laser or tile laser level . Check out these reviews to find the best.
Tacklife laser comes with a self-leveling mode, which automatically generates a red lasered cross immediately, it is placed inside the range of 4 degrees of inclination. Furthermore, the smart pendulum leveling system lets you lock to turn on laser beams and you can set the laser manually at any given angle of inclination by pressing the button fitted at the top of the tool to turn off self-leveling.
How can you mount the tool to work on different applications? The tool comes with a magnetic base, which can be fixed on metal surfaces. This allows you to turn the device around easily to get lines projected at any desired angle or position. Also, it can release and project cross line lasers accurately onto flat surfaces, therefore making it perfect for other work applications like fixing windows, doors, among others.
How about convenience and ease to use? Very portable to carry around, but also large enough to place on any work surface. It can easily be transported or stored as it comes with a handy zippered pouch which also greatly protects the tool from dust, scratches at the base and direct impact. In addition to that, it comes powered with AA batteries for instant use and detailed English user manual.

My first tile job turned out great using this laser level to get me started and allow me to check my work. It does all the thinking; you just need to set it at the height you need. It had a magnetic bracket but that didn’t help me much so I screwed it to the wall and also used an old tripod. You can actually just set it on a pile of bricks or blocks or anything. Horizontal and vertical lines allo you to check before you start and as you go. I can’t compare to expense ones, but this is all I needed. It is not super bright and does fade out on the edges but that’s really not a problem in my small bath. You can darken the room if you cannot see the lines. Great value for high tech! (PS this laser does not shoot straight up for a plumbline.) UPDATE: Try it outdoors for landscape projects; just remember it is not bright enough for daytime use.
So far I have completed 5 projects that needed leveling or benefited from it. Self-leveling is awesome. You can attach the unit to your walls using the magnetic adapter (most wall corners / window edges have metal corner beading which is usually magnetic) or you can use a tripod as it has a standard 1/4 -20 thread mount. A super useful product that has saved me valuable time.
I bought this to assist in setting out the timbers for a 400sq ft roof over the pool deck. I must admit I was a little dubious that it would work, after all, lasers for construction work used to cost $xxx a few years ago. I have other Tacklife products so gave this ago. It’s a simple tool but when it arrived I was concerned that it would not be bright enough. Given that I live in the Bahamas with harsh sunlight that was a real concern and in daylight I was right, outside it can hatdly be seen.
Put it on after dusk it in semi darkness and it’s a whole different story, the cross hair is bright and very easy to work to over the 25-25ft I needed so it suited my needs very well. Works well indoor too. I used it mounted on a good quality photography tripod
One star deducted as its not useful in daylight for me but it’s a minor point as it worked exactly as I wanted
Hueper is one brand that is committed to creating solutions to a number of tasks that require superior accuracy. The Huepar 3D laser level is no exception, as it projects 3×360° green laser lines with one projected horizontally and two vertically to allow the user to thoroughly achieve different applications with minimal effort and time. This tool will also let you freely choose seven line switching modes to further improve accuracy.
Do you want both self and manual leveling modes? Well, the tool comes with both and whether you want to work at different angles and positions or at a fixed angle, you will get exactly that. Switch to an unlocked position and activate the self-leveling mode, and once you get out of range its laser beam will blink continuously to alert you and you can easily switch to manual mode.
The laser tool also features three laser windows, these generate lasers at a range of 10mm closing to the wall. With this paneling, jobs are quite easy and you get accurate results. Additionally, the laser was built to stand the test of time with for soft rubber making it shock resistant, impact resistant and wear resistant, along with a dust and waterproof design that enables usage in extreme weather conditions.

The first test I did upon receiving the level is compare it with another laser level. It is spot on level. There are two button and a switch to control the functions of the laser. The power button is used for turning the laser on and off, and to switch the composition of the lasers with a short press. The pulse mode is controlled with the pulse button. The leveling switch is used to lock and unlock the self-leveling mode. Ease of use is five stars. The lasers are very bright and easy to see across a room. Other levels with the same features are twice as much. I highly recommend the Huepar GF360G. Remember to activate your two-year warranty online.
I was unsure how the green Huepar lasers at this price would work. I was impressed checking level and plumb the first use and they were spot on. This is my second Huepar laser and both have been impressive for the price. For those who are rough on tools or for the part timer or DIY, this is a good option. It even worked decently outside during the day which I had low expectations for.
I got a two way at first as a Christmas present but had not even opened it until 2 weeks ago and found out it would not do what i had bought it for. Called Amazon and explained my issue to them as it was way passed the return date but they said no problem and gave me a refund so i bought this one and i love it. Squaring up framing or walls is a breeze. Love it!
Just like its sister laser level, the Huepar 9011G comes with two leveling modes of use. Once the pendulum is unlocked, the self-leveling mode is activated and when you are out of range (4°±1°), the laser beams will keep flashing. When you want to work at different angles and positions, switch to lock the pendulum to set the laser level manually, again, you're reminded that the tool is not in the self-leveling mode.
Comes with a green laser unit which far is the best because it is two times brighter compared to the ordinary red laser when placed in the same source of light. Also, its wonderful design gives you a more durable, efficient tool which is shock resistant, impact resistant and wear resistant, plus you can use it under extreme conditions since its waterproof and dust proof.
DIY experience isn't necessary when it comes to using this tool, the one switch operation makes it easy for anyone looking to operate it. Furthermore, it's very compact as it has a portable design for ease when moving it around plus a soft grip, hence it can used to handle different applications at work or at home including wall and window constructions, home decorations among others.

There are a half dozen of these tools here on amazon for various prices, and they all pretty much look and work the same. But this is the one to get because of the green laser, which is much brighter than the red alternatives. You can clearly see the horizontal and vertical lines. I used it to help align tile in a bathroom remodel and it worked great. It has a wide angle of effectiveness, throwing a nice visible green level line around about half the room at a time, and the vertical line covers the whole wall and then some. Much easier and more accurate than trying to use a bubble level to go bit by bit around a room.
This level throws a bright green reference line, very visible to my red-weak partially colorblind eyes --- a merciful upgrade from the red line system it replaced. I use it almost exclusively indoors, so the reference lines are very visible. Outdoors, I could see it clearly within about 10 feet, but to me it became faint in bright sunlight much past that distance. On one quick check on a cloudy day, the line was clearly visible on the tan siding 25 feet away across my back deck. I also bought a tripod for use with it, which works well for heights within the range of the tripod, but I get probably more use clamping it to the side of a second stepladder. I think a vertical 2x4 mounted on a stand base would work very well, but have not yet got around to putting one together to try.
I previously posted a critical review of this unit to which the seller acknowledged and sent me a replacement upgraded unit. Upon receiving my new unit I came to realize that the original unit had no problems other than operator error in that the on/off button had to be held down for <2 seconds to initiate operation. Having learned that, I plan to use this unit and its stronger upgrade version, but I will heed the caveat of other owners and take the batteries out when it is not in use. Thanks again to Customer Service for helping me on this.
This bad boy comes with horizontal, vertical and cross line modes. Once your power button, these line modes are projected in a sequence. Lock the tool in order to position and use it at different angles in the manual mode, and unlock the pendulum to set the tool to self-leveling mode, which has a range of 4°. If you happen to take the tool out of that range, it will blink nonstop at 2Hz to alert you.
Comes with the new green diode technology which makes the tool perfect for use in very bright environments. Green beams are made 4 times brighter than the regular red beams when under the same source of light and distance. With such convenience, you can use the laser level to perform other tasks aside from installing tiles such as railway, bridge contractions, and home decoration among other applications.
The tool features an outdoor pulse mode which when turned on, enables the laser level to be used together with a laser detector, which allows you to work at far distances or in very bright spaces. Is it durable enough? With the For soft rubber that makes the tile laser shock resistant, an IP54 rated housing that is dust proof, waterproof, impact and wear resistant. All these give you a durable tool to work with in harsh conditions.

After reading several of these reviews, I was nervous that my product would also arrive defective, not turning off like several people on here have stated. I received mine and once installing the batteries, I turned it on. Works great! Pressed the power button to turn it off. It turned off. I moved the "lock" switch and turned it on. It turned on! I hit the power button to turn it off. It did not turn off. It instead, switched modes. I turned the lock switch to unlock and tried to turn it off. Magically it worked, just like it's supposed to and turned off! The product is not faulty. The people that can't figure out how to turn this off probably shouldn't be doing any tasks that require the use of this in the first place. They're doing well just to get out of bed in the morning. Buy with confidence, and hopefully you're smarter than this complicated object.
I have used other similar lasers in the past at work and I wanted one of my own for a few projects in my home without breaking the bank. After doing some research I found the Huepar Self-Leveling 360 Laser Level 902CG. As soon as it arrived I put it to work framing a TV mount for my home theater. The next use was to align and hang a Scrabble art piece my wife had made (see picture). This is where having a vertical and horizontal line at the same time made a big difference. It was a real time saver and my hands were free to hang the pieces. I especially like the base versatility. You can set it on a surface, hang it, mount to tripods, or stick it to metal surface using the magnets in the base. Using quality alkaline batteries I haven't had any issues with run time or brightness issues so far. I have used it in low light to bright areas for several projects other than the ones mentioned with no issues. The only thing I can see being an issue would be the line thickness if you have certain situations where you need your measurements to be within <1/16" . Other than that if your looking to buy an auto leveling laser and want to save $$ I would recommend this product.
I wish I had this tool years ago and I am always looking for more ways to use it and the other features it has i.e. locking laser, strobing, etc.
I purchased level, used 1 time in the first 21 days i had it . Bought a hard case to protect it, went to use it ,35 days after purchase, was told no refund. the switch will not engage , seems to me to be cheap(updated review)
New level sent by customer service, works great, not giving 5 Stars because lines are wider than I think they should be and no where near the claimed 150' range...all in all well worth the money... Buy plenty of batteries tho

I got this to do some gallery walls and MAN it has come in far more handy than I expected it to be! So useful! It makes handing frames requiring more than one hook a BREEZE. The batteries that came with it lasted long enough (I have a tendency to just leave this thing on for hours at a time) - one thing that may have been mentioned in the manual (I'm not sure - so I'm mentioning it here) is that if the crosshairs just keep blinking, as if you're not within the "level" range - it could be the batteries need replacing. I was losing my mind for about 20 minutes trying to figure out why it wouldn't level and kept blinking - sure enough, changed the batteries - and back to normal.
The clamp that came with it is super useful for high places too! Otherwise, I just use a cheap camera tripod I got from a thrift store some years back. LOVE THIS LIL GUY! Impressive quality too, and usually I just prefer Dewalt products over anything else. But this has been very impressive for the price. Highly recommend it.
Also, I recently used this to drill holes for anchoring furniture to the walls. I decided to literally chain a couple of record shelves to the wall with gold chains because I like how it looks. I have two matching shelves on both sides of a credenza and I had to have the anchors (giant hook eyes) level across the whole wall, and this laser was PERFECT for that. It makes everything so easy! I had done the first bookshelf before getting the matching one, and BEFORE getting this laser - and I ended up drilling and anchoring only for it to somehow still be uneven (because walls are never perfect) and ended up having to spackle all and do it over and over again. By the time I got the second shelf, I had this laser, and it took maybe 45 minutes altogether (I had to paint the anchors gold to match the chains - I'll add some pictures someday, I'm sure I'm not doing a great job describing it). Anyway - this laser is a serious time saver.
I run a Property Rehab business out of my home and recently bought this to do some punch list work for a property management company that I contract for here in Central FL......installing shower towel bars, shelving, a couple of upper cabinets, etc.
This tool has already earned the ~$50.00 that I paid for it and then some. Has a decent arc of projection, toggles between plumb line only, horizontal line only, and plumb / horizontal crosshairs line only. Definitely powerful enough to light an inside room and has very good projection at 20-25'...haven't needed it for farther out nor will I probably ever
Don't know about the battery life but so far so good after only 4-5 hours time. Comes in a sturdy cardboard box that should be reused to contain and store this "more fragile" tool. Has a cutout inside box that nests the laser head and holder just fine.
I use an old boom microphone stand from my garage / bar band days to mount the laser head onto and it works like a dream.
Perfect for probably 95% of the jobs that a Handyman / serious DIY'er will ever do. Best $50.00 that I have spent in awhile -

Factors To Consider When Choosing The Best Tile Laser
Choosing the right tile laser or laser tiles or tile layout laser can be tough because there are so many options to choose from. Here are some important factors that you should consider.
Depending on the task at hand, precision is key in construction. The accuracy varies in different tasks. When laying tiles, there's very little safety margin allowed. For wall framing a small margin of not exceeding 1/4 of an inch is allowed. You have to invest in the best tile laser or floor tile laser that will give the most accurate results.
In the market, there are 3 types of laser levers to choose from. With the right knowledge on the differences between them, your choice of the most suitable will make work easier.
The rotary laser lever- is able to plot lines at 360 degrees for distances not exceeding 200 feet.
Line lasers-For individual work surfaces and where you are plotting a single plane specific direction. The lever is either hand held or can be fixed on a tripod.
Dot lasers- These are the most common ones. They project a metric point that helps you extract a precise line manually. However, some models will disappoint when accuracy is needed.
For outdoor tasks involving bright light, the clarity of the laser is less. Nowadays most lasers have laser detectors. It's important to note that not all lasers are compatible with laser detectors. As you purchase the laser, make sure to check the specifications of the tool and the detector.
Opt for a laser level or tile laser square laser level, which comes with wider projection ranges. This will help you when it comes to working at greater distances especially when the project is outdoors.
Ease of use
When purchasing a laser level or best laser level for tiling, it's best to choose one that is simple to use. One with a user-friendly model is easier to use as like as best electric hand planers.
The best tile laser will definitely come with features that make it stand out and last for long. Choose a laser level, which is strong and sturdy, waterproof and dustproof, shock, wear and impact resistant. With such features, you can work with your tool or laser tile layout tool or laser for tile layout at any given workplace conveniently.
